I was born an animal lover and always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, allergies are prevalent in my family. My brother has asthma and my sister has to avoid all kinds of nuts. I was determined to have pets in my house, so as soon as I could, I bought my first “hypoallergenic” cat – a Ragdoll. That was many years ago (1993), and I realized I loved the breed and that I could raise healthy kittens and make the breed better as a ragdoll breeder. Over the years, I made many friends who were also breeders and established a positive and helpful network.

Veterinary Expertise
I am a small animal veterinarian. I take pride in the fact that by combining my veterinary as well as my breeding skills, I can help find families lovely companions.
When I can spare time, I utilize my unique blend of veterinarian and breeding skills to assist other breeders. In 2015, I gave a lecture for Ragdoll Congress Judges concerning the most prevalent illness observed in catteries and how to control it through proper immunization and cleanliness.
I also gave a talk at the Lincoln State Cat Show in 2017 and 2018.
Experience and Love of Breeding
I breed Ragdoll cats because I adore the breed, particularly their velvety coats and outgoing personality. I enjoy breeding, and feel it is great to see all the kitties grow into gorgeous, treasured companions.
I have been breeding for upwards of 25 years, and it has brought me a great deal of delight and satisfaction.
Socially-Raised Kittens
I currently live on a small hobby farm just West of Chicago with my three kids and many pets. We have our Ragdolls, Goldendoodles, horses, and a hamster. The cats are all raised inside our house and are part of the family. We do this because we love our pets. This also gives you a well-socialized kitten that will have no trouble getting along with your family and other pets.
